Senior Inspector/Lead Auditor

Role Overview

• Lead on-site facility walkthroughs, conduct staff and detainee interviews, and collect data for rigorous analysis.
• Manage the creation of complex workpapers and draft site-specific reports outlining deficiencies and recommendations.
• Assist in training inspectors on applying standards to field conditions.
• Responsible for pulling together the writing of the inspection team into the final report, which will be sent to the QC Manager.
• Coordinate with medical subject matter experts to integrate specialized findings into draft reports.
• Review sources of evidence for accuracy to ensure reports conform to OIG/OIE Quality Assurance standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance auditing, inspections, or evaluations under GAGAS and QSI&E (Blue Book) standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Criminal Justice, Public Policy, Finance, etc.).
• Proven experience leading audit or inspection teams in a federal oversight capacity.
• Superior report writing skills and the ability to produce detailed assessments under tight deadlines.
• Ability to walk a minimum of 15,000 steps per day while navigating facility grounds and operations.
• Capacity to remain on your feet for extended periods (8–10 hours) during on-site walkthroughs.
• Ability to carry equipment (cameras, tablets, laptops) and maneuver through stairs and outdoor areas.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Risk public trust fitness screening.
