Role Overview
- Report directly to Director Planning COE
- Work out of Houston, TX, Charlotte, NC, or Rosemont, IL
- Impact the efficiency of demand planning operations
- Ensure customer demands are met while optimizing inventory levels
- Enhance overall supply chain performance
- Support S4 Hana and new advanced planning system migration as SME, Trainer, UAT lead, and post go live support for demand planning
- Lead improvements and standardization projects for PT demand planning
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Demand Planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management or other Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area.
- Proficiency with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. Kinaxis, SAP APO module, Forecast Pro).
- Strong knowledge of demand planning principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated implementation of statistical forecasting in an advanced planning system.
- Familiarity with demand planning software and systems.
- Advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
