Responsible for building and maintaining consultative and strategic partnerships with assigned book of business through the entire client life cycle, starting at implementation and continuing through everyday problem resolution, upsell, and renewal activities.
Works directly with sales executives during finalist presentations and may be asked to present to potential clients.
Expected to support and service between 12 – 20 clients.
Maintains senior management-level contact with client stakeholders and the broker.
Internal project participation that benefits and supports the client and/or the client management organization.
Charged with retaining and growing their assigned book of business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 Years industry experience OR High School diploma and 9 years previous Client Management experience
Ability to travel is required (up to 25%)
Ability to interact with senior level executives
Results oriented and self-motivated
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Exceptional organizational skills
Understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans; stop loss understanding a plus
Knowledge and understanding of benefit-related federal laws (i.e., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, etc.)
