Role Overview
- Build and maintain backend services that support EHR integrations
- Contribute to onboarding new integrations and improving operational reliability
- Collaborate closely with product managers on solution design and delivery
- Pair regularly with teammates and participate in code reviews
- Own and deliver well‑scoped features with guidance from senior engineers
- Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly with the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM field, or equivalent practical experience
- Typically 4+ years of relevant professional experience
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong (4+ years) hands‑on experience building backend services
- Proficiency in C# and TypeScript
- Experience (4+ years) with Ruby, React, and JavaScript (legacy/supporting systems)
- Experience working with Kafka or similar event‑driven / messaging platforms
- Experience designing, building, or supporting system integrations
- Ability to produce maintainable, high‑quality code
