Role Overview
- Support and advise on corporate actions related to the lifecycle of companies
- Restructuring: mergers and demergers (splits)
- Commercial and professional leases
- Transfer of client/patient portfolios (sale or transfer of professional practices)
- Ongoing monitoring of legislative and regulatory developments
- Provide technical support to our audit and accounting teams
- Ensure statutory approval of accounts
- Actively participate in and contribute to our advisory activities
Requirements
- Master's degree in law (or equivalent, Bac+5) with a specialization in business law
- Significant experience in a law firm or an accounting firm in a similar role
- Knowledge of tax law is a plus
- Inquisitive, rigorous, conscientious and enthusiastic
- Strong client-service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
