Senior Internal Auditor

Role Overview

• Researches, plans, and independently executes complex SOX control testing activities
• Participates in the development of audit scope and audit programs
• Prepares detailed and well-organized audit work papers
• Identifies, develops, and presents audit issues and recommendations
• Performs supervisory reviews of audits in-charged by others
• Pursues professional development opportunities
• May represent Internal Audit on organizational project teams
• Assists external auditors, regulators, and third parties
• Assists in the identification and evaluation of risk in the organization’s audit universe

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related required
• 4-6 years related experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Recent public accounting, banking, and/or internal audit experience preferred
• Experience with a Big Four Audit firm working with clients in Financial Services preferred
• Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CBA, CISA, CFSA, or CISSP) preferred
• Proficient user of basic Microsoft programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams)
