Lead coordination between engineering teams, consultants, contractors, owners, and clients to define project scope, document deviations, and align technical requirements.
Drive alignment of evolving owner and client inputs with design standards, budget targets, cash flow considerations, and early schedule milestones.
Own CDE completion along with BOD generation/deviation management.
Strong participation in Client contract/SLA reviews against the CDE and BOD.
Generate and own initial schedule for the project with other leadership teammates' input and track project deliverables, timelines, and key milestones.
Oversee review of precon/design documents, initial engineering-related analyses, bid packages, and preliminary schedules.
Generate and maintain precon budget until handover to development project management.
Integrate preconstruction management into early design, including conceptual budgeting, cost benchmarking, and risk identification.
Partner with procurement and commercial teams to review OFCI strategies and cost impacts.
Facilitate structured preconstruction and design alignment meetings.
Advise development and leadership teams on technical constraints, site limitations, cost drivers, and schedule risks.
Support QA/QC process to ensure deliverables are ready for execution.
Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accountability for scope control and budget adherence.
Requirements
7+ years’ experience in construction management, design, design management, or relevant field
5+ years’ experience with data center and/or mission-critical projects’ design/construction
Experience with electrical engineering systems and their integration into mission-critical environments.
