Role Overview
- Manage accounting team for employee compensation and benefits
- Oversee accounting team for accrual, prepaid expenses, and operating expenses
- Manage intercompany accounting team
- Manage preparation and review of statutory and GAAP financial reporting
- Direct monthly and quarterly close activities for expenses
- Ensure compliance with statutory accounting principles
- Support and coordinate internal and external audits activities
- Manage, coach, and develop accounting staff
- Lead multiple complex accounting and financial projects concurrently
- Identify and drive process improvement and efficiency initiatives
Requirements
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with pension accounting, equity compensation accounting, lease accounting and enterprise or corporate accounting processes preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Significant experience with financial ledger software
