About this role
Role Overview
Design and deliver impactful public programmes across multiple museum venues.
Collaborate with artists, curators and students to grow diverse audiences and strengthen the University’s cultural presence.
Conceive, plan and produce an annual calendar of public programmes aligned with exhibitions, collections and strategic priorities.
Manage relationships with artists, speakers and partners, ensuring collaborative processes and high-quality creative outcomes.
Coordinate end-to-end event delivery with Marketing, Curatorial and Operations teams, including logistics, technical needs and onsite execution.
Develop networks that enhance the student experience and expand participation by priority communities and interest groups.
Contribute to audience and engagement strategy, monitoring outcomes and integrating feedback to improve future programming.
Requirements
Hold a relevant qualification in arts or creative industries management, or equivalent producing and cultural engagement experience.
Demonstrate a strong track record delivering innovative public arts or cultural programmes from concept through to evaluation.
Bring proven experience collaborating with artists and understanding contemporary practice, technical delivery requirements and risk management.
Possess well-developed stakeholder management skills and active networks across local and national cultural sectors.
Identify and grow participation from diverse communities of interest, including students and underrepresented audience groups.
Adapt to evening and weekend event schedules, supporting live programmes and performances across multiple venues.
