Cyber Security Consultant

Role Overview

• Monitor alerts and events generated by DLP solutions (Trellix, Purview, Netskope) and SIEMs.
• Investigate potential data leakage incidents, performing root cause analysis.
• Assess risks related to the misuse of sensitive data and recommend corrective measures.
• Configure and fine-tune DLP policies according to business and compliance requirements.
• Integrate DLP tools with other security solutions such as CASB, proxies and SIEMs.
• Participate in projects to deploy new data protection technologies.
• Lead data classification initiatives with governance teams.
• Define sensitivity criteria and apply controls such as encryption and tokenization.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as LGPD, GDPR and ISO 27001.

Requirements

• Proven experience with DLP solutions, specifically:
• Trellix (McAfee) DLP
• Microsoft Purview (Office 365 DLP)
• Netskope (CASB, Proxy)
• Familiarity with other market tools such as Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, Zscaler, etc.
• Experience with data classification, encryption, tokenization and content inspection.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards such as LGPD, GDPR, ISO 27001 and frameworks like NIST.
• Ability to perform risk assessments, incident investigations and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Experience integrating security solutions with SIEMs and incident response tools.
• Critical and analytical thinking to evaluate complex security scenarios.
• Clear, didactic communication, including with non-technical teams.
• Proactivity and a sense of urgency to handle incidents and concurrent projects.
• Negotiation and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Curiosity and continuous learning in an ever-evolving threat landscape.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+ (SY0-701), Microsoft SC-400.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-premises setups.
• Participation in DLP and data classification implementation projects.
