Responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of Information Systems utilizing their expertise in Epic Applications.
Ensures integration of technology into effective workflow and process design as well as ensuring operational efficiency of assigned Epic applications and integrated technology.
Provides advanced ongoing analysis, consultation, complex problem-solving, collaboration and application support to users.
Responsible for contributing to system training.
Utilizes knowledge and skills to function as a technical resource on Epic and assume higher level project responsibilities.
Responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, implementation, optimization, and support of Epic Willow Ambulatory applications and related technologies supporting ambulatory pharmacy operations.
Partners with pharmacy staff, operational leaders, and technical teams to improve workflows, resolve complex application issues, support system upgrades and maintenance, and ensure effective integration of technology into daily operations across retail, specialty, and home health pharmacy environments.
Supports new pharmacy builds, ongoing system enhancements, project coordination, user support, and training initiatives.
Requirements
Epic Willow Ambulatory certification and build experience
Strong understanding of ambulatory pharmacy workflows
Experience with Epic upgrades, system maintenance, and application support
Knowledge of medication loads, pricing updates, and insurance updates
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and support complex projects
Experience supporting retail, specialty, or home health pharmacy operations preferred
Associates degree, preferred
Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification required
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Information Systems (MIS) or similar experience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation or a combination of MIS and working knowledge of hospital operations required
Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience required
Experience in supporting complex problems
Experience in assisting other Analysts
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Epic application support, development tools and methodologies
Good analytical skills and technical aptitude
