Help organizations across the country demonstrate the impact of CHW programs, strengthen evidence for sustainable funding, and translate rigorous research into practical improvements that benefit patients with complex medical and social needs.
As an Evaluation Consultant, partner with health systems and community-based organizations nationwide to design, implement, and interpret rigorous evaluations of Community Health Worker (CHW) programs implemented using the evidence-based IMPaCT model.
Advise partner organizations on their evaluation strategy: co-create evaluation questions, select appropriate study designs (retrospective analyses, RCTs, quasi-experimental approaches, mixed methods), and recommend pragmatic tradeoffs to fit organizational capacity.
Help design analytic plans: help organizations develop statistical approaches (e.g., multivariable regression, propensity score methods, diff-in-diff) and analytic plans for evaluating their CHW programs.
Support data collection and measurement: help define outcomes and covariates, design surveys and data capture tools, and advise on EHR and administrative data extraction.
Build partner capacity: train staff on evaluation basics, data interpretation, and continuous quality improvement.
Support dissemination: help prepare evaluation sections for grants, reports, blogs, and presentations for stakeholders.
