About this role
Role Overview
- Gather and document functional requirements from Data Management teams and data repository clients
- Understand existing processes and underlying data; supplement business requirements with edge cases to propose the best solution to business partners
- Write user stories for engineering teams
- Define acceptance criteria and test scenarios to validate the correct implementation of changes
- Perform ad hoc analyses on data repositories
- Occasionally write small scripts in SQL/Python to support these tasks
- Document new features to ensure a smooth handover to production teams
- Implement business data strategies and build new datasets from internal and external data
- Prepare data quality requirements
- Model datasets according to business needs while anticipating reuse by a wide range of data consumers
Requirements
- Prior experience in CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) or Asset Management is required
- Degree from an engineering school or equivalent, with at least 3 years of professional experience (excluding internships and apprenticeships)
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst in Data Management
- Mandatory proficiency in Neoxam and/or Databricks
- Comfortable with SQL
- A technical background is a strong plus for this role
