Create guidelines for editing of AI content, including feedback to both editors and creators of AI content generation tools to ensure better quality first and final drafts.
Mentor senior editors into the team to eventually take leadership roles within the team / company through the use of task delegations, career development plans and consistent feedback.
Approving the design, style, tone, and appropriateness of our publications for both manual and AI content creation with conversion, SEO, and UX in focus.
Lead modification of content on Google Docs and regular tracking of consistent issues to feedback and prevent recurring issues in new first-draft content, ensuring this as standard practice in the editorial team.
Ensure all content and headlines are optimized for organic search and reflect SEO best practices for Google Search and Google News.
Lead the charge on creative content for Google News to become a viable traffic and revenue generation funnel.
Requirements
Proven experience in the role of an editor
Proven experience of leading an editorial team
AI Automation experience
Exceptional English writing ability for long-form and short-form content
Possess outstanding writing, editing and creative skills
Possess an exceptional attention to detail
Portfolio of previous editorial projects (preferred)
Claude Enterprise experience (preferred)
