Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related areas, or equivalent level of experience
8+ years’ pre-sales experience in the IT industry, expertise in networking, application delivery, security, cloud and SaaS etc. technologies
Considered an internal subject matter expert within the function
Consistently acts as a resource for other functions such as sales engineering, sales management, and inside sales
Requires conceptual thinking to understand advanced issues and implications
Ability to select and improve processes to sell across F5’s product portfolio
Expert level understanding of Web Protocols and application architectures (HTTP/TLS/SSL), programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Golang, etc.), and Kubernetes concepts and architectures
Advanced knowledge of Data Center, Virtualization, Cloud computing environments, Solution Performance, and Sizing
Expert in Solution designs for large-scale environments and Vertical Market solutions
