About this role
Role Overview
- You drive the development and scaling of digital products — from business case through implementation to market penetration
- You identify and prioritize features based on customer needs, market requirements and operational pain points
- You ensure feasibility and profitability — in close coordination with IT, Data and business units
- You validate products early in the market — through MVPs, pilots and continuous feedback loops
- You coordinate cross-functional collaboration and are responsible for delivery with agile teams
- You analyze the market, competitors and regulatory developments and derive concrete actions
- You make product success measurable and controllable — through clear KPIs and data-driven decisions
- You pragmatically and scalably drive innovations around automation, data and AI
Requirements
- Several years of experience in product management of digital solutions with clear business responsibility
- Solid background in the insurance sector (especially personal injury and/or private health insurance (PKV))
- Proven experience in business case development and market-oriented product development
- Strong stakeholder management including customers and senior management
- Ability to structure complex requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
- Good understanding of technological capabilities (platforms, data, automation)
- Entrepreneurial mindset, high personal accountability and strong execution skills
- Experience with MVP setups, pilot programs and experiment-driven validation
- Hands-on experience with KPI frameworks (e.g., North Star, OKRs)
- Exposure to AI use cases in the insurance domain
- Experience handling regulatory requirements and translating them into products
