About this role
Role Overview
- Provide timely and accurate legal advice to px stakeholders to support informed decision making.
- Provide sound and pragmatic legal/contractual solutions to business matters, mitigating commercial risk whilst maintaining business focus.
- Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal document retention systems and precedents bank.
- Provide ad-hoc contracts training and other agreed training to stakeholders within the business.
Requirements
- A law degree, or other degree plus CPE, or equivalent legal qualification
- Previous experience working in a busy legal environment.
- Experience of reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts including: variations, heads of terms, memorandums of understanding, supply of good/services agreements etc.
- Experience of drafting, reviewing and negotiating various ancillary agreements such as NDA’s, licenses, letters of intent etc.
- Experience of maintaining professional competency by monitoring legal developments & learnings and communicating to legal colleagues.
