Role Overview
- Provide senior-level planning and execution for mission-critical writing projects
- Work closely with senior leadership and faculty for project execution
- Respond to emerging needs for timely and compelling written communications
- Produce unique digital and print pieces for fundraising
- Serve as a DAR liaison with outside vendors when necessary
- Interact effectively with top levels of University leadership and philanthropists
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- 5-7 years relevant work experience in communications or related field
- Expert writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience writing for fundraising
- Comfort level and skill with technologies including digital platforms
- Experience writing high visibility executive communications
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to function with diplomacy and build relationships
- Demonstrated history of effective performance in deadline-driven environments
