About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for and execution of transfers, allowance management, bonus applications, as well as tax processing and edge-case handling, ensuring strict compliance with SLAs and KPIs
Ongoing development into the central subject-matter expert for all aspects of operational day-to-day business
Provide specialist support to client teams in servicing their end users and answering complex questions related to pension provision
Continuous optimization of workflows through targeted use of AI, automation tools, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Ensure smooth operations and proactively address risks while strictly observing legal requirements and internal policies
Requirements
Basic understanding of market rules and common pension products (particularly the Riester pension / Riester-Rente)
Knowledge of the legal framework and a basic understanding of data exchange with the Central Allowance Office for Retirement Assets (Zentrale Zulagenstelle für Altersvermögen — ZfA)
Strong interest in working with artificial intelligence and actively using AI tools in daily work
Reliability and resilience during periods of high workload, and conscientious time management
Native-level German and business-fluent English, both spoken and written
High degree of initiative combined with strong team skills
Several years of professional experience with a deep subject focus on the Riester pension and related operational processes (advantageous)
Solid experience in data analysis and process optimization using visualization tools, and strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or workflow automation (advantageous)
Practical experience in production use of Large Language Models (e.g., Claude) or comparable AI-driven solutions (advantageous)
