Role Overview
- Manage a variety of litigation and pre-litigation matters, by organizing files and tracking deadlines to ensure timely case progression.
- Support the intake of new legal claims by gathering details, assisting investigations and preparing insurance reports.
- Handle responses to subpoenas and other document requests.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, insurers and brokers to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Paralegal certificate.
- 5+ years in a law firm or corporate setting.
- Experience in the insurance industry a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
