Lead formal negotiations of all types (pricing, terms and conditions, scope of work, schedule, etc.)
Constructing various contracting types for major procurement activities to meet the requirements of the programs and needs of the business, continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of opportunities for enhanced efficiencies.
Take ownership of the procurement process from requisition creation through final payment of invoices and are accountable to resolve issues within this process.
Support the overall procurement organization's strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved to include delivery of materials that are on time, within budget, and meet technical performance requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with minimum 7 years of experience or a Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
Degree will be in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related specialty to supply chain management
Minimum 20% travel required
Interprets and applies company, policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance.
Knowledge of Propellant Market or similar commodity spot, micro and bulk buys.
Previous experience negotiating purchase of large and small scale pressure vessels, cryogenic tanks, skids, tube banks, as well as leasing options.
Knowledge in initiation, review and negotiation of Riders, Leases, Rental Agreements, Long Term Agreements (LTSA) and Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Production Service Agreements (PSA).
Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department.
Maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.
Background and purchasing and negotiations of Bulk and Micro Bulk Propellants and Packaged Gases.
Strong Supplier Management and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) maintenance
Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metrics
Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations and monitor delivery schedules.
Must have top notch people and communication skills.
An eagerness to identify opportunities, find solutions, execute plans, and evaluate results critically and expediently.

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification (preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)
Current active DOD Secret Security Clearance and/or Special Access (preferred)
Experience with Costpoint, Coupa, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Tableau, Databricks (preferred)
