The Technical Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in accelerating growth and strengthening market credibility.
Support retention within Old Mutual Group Risk as a technical thought leader and product expert.
Contribute to strategic initiatives driving sustainable growth in Old Mutual’s Group Assurance book.
Manage and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
Provide technical and commercial insight to support pricing governance.
Act as a specialist supporting Group Assurance distribution channels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational feasibility and compliance.

Qualified or near-qualified Actuary or equivalent technical qualification.
4–6+ years’ experience in Group Insurance / Employee Benefits / Reinsurance.
Strong exposure to group risk products and pricing concepts.
Experience in pricing, product, technical marketing, or commercial support roles within group insurance.
Client-facing or intermediary-facing experience with proven ability to manage senior relationships.
Commercial exposure to new business tenders, pricing sign-off processes, and deal structuring.
Knowledge of umbrella funds, retirement benefits, or investments is advantageous.
Exposure to digital enablement, automation, or analytics-driven decision-making is beneficial.
Strong written and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive and trustee audiences.
