Own continuous small improvement initiatives
Support critical business cycles (e.g. month-end close) with confidence via Jira helpdesk ticketing system and Kanban board
Enable data migration, testing strategy (SIT/UAT), and go-live readiness
Build internal IFS Finance expertise through regular knowledge transfer
Adhere to Evotec’s company values and Compliance rules – includes SOX, Quality, IT security and Works Council.
Ensure compliant, high-quality documentation (process blueprints, functional designs, and user documentation) to support scalable and maintainable IFS solutions.
Working with colleagues on a global scale across various regions, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy & the US.
Requirements
Professional finance qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) or BSc/MSc degree on Finance/Accounting area or strong financial background.
Strong hands-on experience with IFS Finance (IFS10 / IFS Cloud).
Knowledge of IFS Project Management module is highly advantageous.
Deep understanding of finance transformation and ERP best practices.
Proven ability to translate business strategy into system design.
Confidence to challenge requirements and drive standardization.
Strong analytical and solution-design mindset.
Comfort working across IT, Finance, and external partners.
Basic IFS technical knowledge, including PL/SQL and experience with Custom Configurations (Custom Fields, Menus, Logical Units, ACP, Events, and Lobbies).
A strong IT mindset and software development background would be highly beneficial.
