To ensure success as a Network Operations Center Engineer, you should demonstrate basic knowledge of network and system administration, CDNs, monitoring tools and the ability to work flexible hours.
Use monitoring tools to identify potential problems.
Monitor the performance and capacity of systems.
Respond to alerts and generated by monitoring tools.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting incidents.
Tracking and documenting incidents and compiling incident reports.
Take part in the post mortem process, making sure that everything is documented correctly.
Managing and creating Grafana Dashboards, managing, and creating Grafana alerts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Basic knowledge of system and network administration
Linux commands line experience is a plus
Basic CDN understanding
DNS understanding
Proven ability to work independently
Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to work flexible hours (24/7).
Ability to work well under pressure.
Good English Level
