Provides clinical leadership and oversight of patient care services for the wound care and hyperbaric program
Partners with clinical and operational leadership to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care delivery
Leads and supports clinical training initiatives for new and existing staff
Creates appropriate training material/courses and educational aids
Evaluates training effectiveness and monitors improvements in documentation quality
Travels to wound centers across the U.S. to support ongoing clinical education
Collaborates with Revenue Cycle to proactively prevent denials and resolve authorization-related issues

Registered Nurse (RN) from an accredited school or college of nursing
Current state licensure; no restrictions to obtain RN license in additional states
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from approved agency
2+ years wound care experience required
2+ years clinical training experience required
Experience in course development and creation of training tools required
Deep understanding of charting, billing and insurance authorizations
Proficient in Microsoft Office or related systems
Proficient in a minimum of one EMR system
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to treat others with compassion and patience
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
