Role Overview
- Maintain and control the funds’ general ledgers and various sub-ledgers
- Liaise with supervisors and/or accounting specialists locally and in outsourced services locations
- Prepare and/or review financial statements (stand-alone, consolidated)
- Manage the client capital activity processing (capital calls/distributions/transfers)
- Prepare limited partner and general partner allocations, NAV packages and work paper products
- Oversee and/or prepare reports to local and foreign regulatory authorities
- Act as liaison to various external stakeholders, i.e. auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel
- Monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables
- Review client Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), PPMs, and other materials
- Manage and monitor client deliverables (SLAs) with your team and the client
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
Requirements
- Degree in Business or Finance desirable
- Qualified accountant or working towards ACA, CA, ACCA or CPA designation
- 7+ years of private/public accounting work experience desirable
- 3+ years’ experience in Real Assets and Fund Accounting desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting consolidation
- Proven Fund Accounting system, Microsoft Word and Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Familiarity with tax-efficient European structures and related investment vehicles and regulatory requirements would be considered an advantage.
