Clinical Research Coordinator

Role Overview

• coordinate industry sponsored and internally funded prospective clinical trials across multiple investigators
• perform quality checks
• identify resource needs and develop clinical research documents
• contribute to the development of protocols
• schedule logistics, determine workflows, and secure resources for clinical research trials
• manage research workflow components, collect, prepare, process, and submit participant data and samples to appropriate entities
• serve as a main point of contact for clinical research participants
• ensure participants follow the research protocol and alert Principal Investigator of issues

Requirements

• Prior work experience in a health care setting or with human patients
• Prior work experience with electronic medical/health records (EMR or EHR) systems
• Previous experience coordinating clinical trials (Preferred)
• Prior experience adhering to IRB approved protocols (Preferred)
• Prior experience with FDA regulated clinical trials (Preferred)
• Prior experience with electronic data capturing (EDC) (Preferred)
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree with focus in biological or health sciences, health care or related field
