About this role
Role Overview
- Overall responsibility for the Internal Audit function
- Ensure independent, objective and risk-oriented audit and advisory services
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the audit team
- Further develop a systematic, risk-oriented audit approach
- Prepare and manage the annual audit plan in accordance with MaRisk
- Support external audits and follow up on actions arising from audit findings
Requirements
- Completed training/qualification in banking
- Several years of professional and managerial experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or a comparable environment
- Professional theoretical suitability pursuant to § 33 (2) of the German Banking Act (KWG)
- Solid banking expertise
- Strong auditing and risk management competence
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and appropriately for the audience
