Provides consultative account management and brokerage services to large-group employee benefits clients with 1,000-5,000+ lives
Works alongside Producers, responsible for overseeing management of assigned accounts as the technical expert and broker-consultant across complex, multi-carrier benefit programs
Partners with decision makers, provides proactive consultation, insurance program design, and negotiation of coverage terms
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with C-level and senior HR decision-makers
Leads carrier marketing, underwriting negotiations, and RFP processes for large-group accounts
Conducts annual reviews, making coverage and cost-containment recommendations
Requirements
Active Life & Health License
5-7+ years of employee benefits account management or consulting experience, some of which servicing Major Markets (1,000+ lives)
Demonstrated expertise with self-funded and level-funded plan arrangements, stop-loss marketing, and large-group underwriting concepts
Experience influencing C-level executives and presenting to senior HR leadership at large employers
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to design and deliver group presentations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands across multiple large-group accounts
High energy, detail-oriented self-starter with strong leadership and mentoring skills
