Mid-level Data Scientist

Role Overview

• Develop and implement predictive models for credit risk assessment.
• Conduct advanced statistical analyses to identify patterns in credit behavior and delinquency.
• Collaborate with credit and collections teams to implement data-driven strategies.
• Develop and refine machine learning models using MLOps pipelines.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain ongoing alignment and close collaboration with the data and AI team.

Requirements

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience in credit and collections modeling.
• Strong skills in Machine Learning and Statistics.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and data science methods.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on solving complex problems considering multiple scenarios and risk–return trade-offs.
• Clear and concise communication of analyses, models, and findings to business stakeholders.
