Precisely define business needs by consulting designated users and based on decisions made during the architecture vision;
Analyze the impacts related to the stated business needs;
Conduct analyses (collect, analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities) to identify possible solutions;
Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary agile team to design, test and deploy quality increments;
Document analysis work for future reference according to agreed standards;
Apply the organization’s chosen approach (definition of done, Scrum events, backlog updates, etc.);
Participate in team-based estimation of backlog stories and tasks;
Act as product owner (PO) or as quality lead;
Validate, together with the business architecture advisor responsible for delivery, the solutions selected during detailed analysis and the preparation of functional specifications or any other documents resulting from the agile approach, and complete the quality assurance forms related to validation and approval for all affected cycles;
Ensure the development team follows established guidelines.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology (computer science, software engineering or computer engineering), in business administration (major in organizational information systems, business technology management or operations, logistics and analytics), or possess equivalent education.
Have five (5) years of experience as a business analyst in an information systems development and improvement context, including three (3) years of experience in systems operations/management activities (file validation, preparation and execution of acceptance and integrated tests, production deployment, review of work organization and optimization of work processes) within organizations of a scale similar to the client’s.
Have completed two (2) engagements of 200 person-days as a business analyst within projects sized at 4,000 person-days, with work covering three (3) of the following six (6) areas: change management; requirements definition; solution identification; requirements management and design definition; strategy analysis; stakeholder management and collaboration.
Have prepared and executed acceptance test plans, totaling 200 person-days, in a project sized at 4,000 person-days.
Have completed one (1) engagement of 200 person-days in business process optimization within a large-scale organizational transformation that changed business processes across multiple departments and had a significant impact on client groups.
