Height Safety Technical Inspector

Role Overview

• Ensure regulatory compliance of fall-protection systems on site.
• Carry out periodic inspections of anchor devices and lifelines (EN 795) on roofs, façades and industrial structures.
• Inspect personal fall protection equipment (PPE): harnesses (EN 361), lanyards, energy absorbers (EN 355), self-retracting lifelines (EN 360), connectors (EN 362).
• Inspect collective protection measures: guardrails, caged ladders, stanchions, access hatches.
• Perform pull/load tests and record the results.
• Prepare clear and compliant verification reports and as-built documentation (DOE).
• Plan your rounds: multiple sites per day across the Île-de-France region.
• Report non-conformities and propose corrective actions to our clients.

Requirements

• 0–3 years' experience in height safety inspection (Veritas, Socotec, Dekra, Apave, Qualiconsult or equivalent).
• Valid Working at Height authorization/certification.
• Knowledge of standards EN 795, EN 353, EN 361, EN 363, EN 365.
• Rigor, autonomy and customer-service orientation.
• Driving licence (Permis B) required — field-based position.
