VDB Executive Search, LLC is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for their client RAXTAR, a company that develops advanced vertical transport solutions for construction projects. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for North American customers, combining technical expertise with a commercial approach to ensure customer inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to technical and commercial customer inquiries
- Advise customers on products, options, configurations, and applications
- Prepare and follow up on quotations
- Process sales orders and maintain customer data in SAP (and CRM)
- Build and strengthen relationships with customers in the US and Canada
- Coordinate with engineering, service, and production on complex requests
- Identify customer needs and opportunities for up- and cross-selling
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Fluency in English (spoken and written), Spanish a big plus
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office and experience with CRM/ERP systems (SAP is a plus)
- Residency in North America
- Structured, analytical, and communicative
- Hands-on mindset
- Technical insight and affinity with industrial installations
- Experience in a similar role
