Role Overview
- Manage Sales & Use Tax consulting engagements
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients
- Support identification of new opportunities within existing client relationships
- Provide guidance on Sales & Use Tax risk, exposure, and process improvements
- Manage engagement timelines, scope, and deliverables
- Review workpapers, research, and client deliverables for accuracy and completeness
- Mentor and develop seniors and staff
- Collaborate with other SALT and firm service lines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
- CPA, CMI, JD, or LLM required
- 5 years of public accounting experience, with a strong focus on Sales & Use Tax consulting
- Demonstrated experience leading Sales & Use Tax engagements and interacting directly with clients
- Strong technical research and writing skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy consulting environment
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak periods as needed
