Role Overview
- Lead the solution architecture throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead the solution design and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Share and communicate end-to-end solutions clearly and concisely
- Design a cost-effective solution that maximizes customer value
- Create and support POC and demos and present solutions
- Provide ongoing feedback to product management for delivery of best practices
Requirements
- At least 10 years of work in the definition of requirements and enhancements of business processes
- Degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering & Management
- Information Systems
- Wide knowledge of relevant products and E2E Business processes.
- Knowledge of telecom industry, relevant technical architecture, and industry standards
- Experience in leading teams in cross-domain Retail or Telecom systems.
- Experience working on Amdocs is a plus.
- Proven experience in defining customer requirements and solutions and project implementation.
- Lead the solution architecture throughout the project lifecycle (Business development, Presale, Scoping, Design, Development, and Ongoing operations).
- Lead the solution design and documentation throughout the project lifecycle and be accountable for solution integrity.
- Having knowledge of ordering and billing domain specifically in Retail consumer business is an advantage.
- Gain insight into the customer's environment, challenges, and opportunities to propose areas where Amdocs products and solutions can add value.
- Maintain deep knowledge of industry and technology trends, standards, and competition to identify business opportunities based on domain market dynamics.
- Share and communicate end-to-end solutions (orally and in writing) to executives, business sponsors, and technical resources clearly and concisely that is in the vernacular of each group.
- Design a cost-effective solution that maximizes value to the customer and considers constraints such as budget, timelines, local market, and meeting customer requirements.
- Guide various product experts about the solution.
- Create and support POC and demos and present solutions.
- Provide ongoing feedback to product management for delivery of best practices.
- Azure cloud Engineer knowledge and Certification will be advantageous
- Experience with Application Servers ( Tomcat, WebLogic, IIS )
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript and bash
- Experience with SQL Server administration
- Creative problem-solver and strong systems skills
- Experience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy Power Bi
- Knowledge of ETL tools (i.e. Informatica power center, SSAS, Talend) and techniques
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Jenkins, Ansible or an equivalent
- Advantage
- On-Prem to cloud data migration experience.
- Must have knowledge and experience in: Business Requirements Requirement Gathering Kafka Microservice Architecture Date Driven Vs Event Driven Architecture Agile Methodology PLSQL/ NoSQL
- Good to have: Jira Unix Scripting Understanding of Network architecture and protocols Operations Maintenance Bitbucket Jenkins Cloud deployment (Azure preferred) Docker Kubernetes SQL Server Automation Node-Red. MicroStrategy
