About this role
Role Overview
Execute Requirements Decomposition in the problem space
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze Voice of the Customer (VOC)
Translate VOC into Stakeholder Needs and derive Stakeholder Requirements
Build out the behavior of MBSE models that helps derive stakeholder requirements and clearly defines the problems for the solution space
Perform requirements gap and overlap analysis against existing requirements
Train and mentor members on requirements decomposition and MBSE modeling
Manage requirements in JAMA Connect
Drive the development, documentation, promotion, and enforcement of enterprise-wide systems engineering standards
Build and maintain an MBSE Governance model for program processes, group functions, and strategic objective alignment.
Develop and conduct training to ensure adoption and compliance with Systems Engineering Standards
Execute additional systems engineering activities across the program lifecycle as needed
Requirements
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
3+ years Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience using SysML v1 and tools such as Cameo Enterprise Architecture
Familiarity with proper requirements decomposition and requirements management
Knowledge of established MBSE methodologies (e.g., MagicGrid, OOSEM)
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive adoption of new processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with technical teams and government stakeholders
Required to work at WPAFB a minimum of two days a week, other work can be remote, or in Dayton office.
