Mid-level Platform Developer (Lower Platform)

Role Overview

• Build robust, scalable, and efficient applications, and manage and optimize infrastructures.
• Design, code, test, and maintain applications using Java and Angular; work with user requirements, system architecture, database integration, and troubleshooting, with a focus on ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java (Quarkus, Spring Boot, Maven, EJB, WebLogic), Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS; Databases: MySQL, Oracle, and Hive.
• Practical experience with DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Microsoft Solutions Framework
• MSF, Extreme Programming
• XP, Lean Manufacturing).
• Concepts of distributed computing and microservices.
• Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Rancher); experience with Kubernetes clusters and resources; Docker containers.
• Continuous delivery processes and tools: CI/CD with Jenkins and Argo.
• Public cloud experience: IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS; building cloud environment monitoring solutions with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs; codebase management, builds, and version control using Git/GitLab.
