Lead end-to-end lifecycle of commercial contracts including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and execution
Mitigate contractual risks and ensure alignment with company policies
Collaborate closely with business, HR, CRE, Finance, Procurement teams, Admin, Security teams
Drafting of criminal complaints, Legal Notices, replies to notices issued by statutory/government bodies etc.
Provide strategic legal guidance to internal stakeholders on business operations and risk mitigation
Support policy development, implementation and data governance
Liaise with external legal counsel and manage litigation and dispute resolution processes
Develop and standardize contract templates and playbooks
Provide legal guidance on employment laws, HR policies, disciplinary proceedings, actions, and employee disputes
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on legal risks and business decisions
Drive legal awareness and training across teams
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from premier law college is required
15+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure managing multiple, complex, strategic, issues
Strong expertise in contract law, Indian employment/labour laws, technology, data protection, intellectual property laws, commercial and regulatory law
Experience in handling complex negotiations and dispute resolution
Flexibility to work and support business operating in US time Zones
