Lead AI-assisted engineering, coach direct reports, unblock engineering challenges
Maintain the quality bar across features and infrastructure
Managing and mentoring the Americas engineering hub
Ensure product development, QA handoffs, and operational coverage flow seamlessly between Americas and EMEA time zones
Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery cadence for all Americas-based engineers
Ensure 90%+ of planned engineering work is delivered each cycle
Recruit, hire, and onboard engineering talent across the Americas region
Establish Americas QA ownership: build quality checkpoints, regression processes, and testing standards
Drive AI-assisted development tools as a force multiplier across the Americas team
Maintain deep working knowledge of the nova platform
APIs, data models, frontend architecture (React/TypeScript), and data infrastructure (Snowflake)

BS or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
7+ years of software engineering experience with proficiency in modern web technologies (TypeScript, React, Node.js) and backend API design
3+ years of engineering management experience, including leading geographically distributed and remote teams
Demonstrated experience managing and strategically growing an engineering team
Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, or equivalent)
Track record of implementing or operating within a cross-timezone engineering model
Experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring engineering talent in the Americas market
Outstanding English communication skills
written and verbal
Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows strongly preferred
