About this role
Role Overview
You analyze clients' business processes and develop solutions based on available upstream/source systems to optimize the financial accounting process
You implement the chosen source systems together with the client and train them in their use
You document the introduced processes and hand them over to the team for ongoing monthly execution
You support our internal firm administration and DATEV rights management
You perform DATEV data transfers to take on new clients efficiently
You assist colleagues with DATEV issues using your specialist knowledge
You develop custom reports and business analyses for clients
You use your finance expertise to prepare relevant KPIs and deliver clients’ bookkeeping according to their requirements
You keep all stakeholders informed about project progress
You create implementation plans with time estimates and update them as needed
You are able to maintain oversight and prioritize even across multiple concurrent projects
Requirements
You have completed vocational training as a tax clerk or an equivalent qualification as an accountant/bookkeeper
Ideally you have worked both in a tax practice and in a company and understand both perspectives
You are highly experienced with DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen, including administration and data transfers
You have strong knowledge of various upstream/source systems that are connected to DATEV
You possess business/finance understanding of accounting logic, reporting and KPIs
Your Excel skills are very good; you can perform complex data preparation, structuring and manual system integrations
Experience with other accounting (FiBu) or ERP tools such as Odoo, Business Central, Sage or Diamant is an advantage
You communicate very well with clients and can explain complex issues clearly
You work solution-oriented, in a structured and independent way, also when handling parallel projects
You are willing to learn and enjoy getting to know new systems and processes
A service mindset, reliability and initiative distinguish you
Very good German language skills and good English skills complete your profile
