Benefits Analyst – Mid Level

Role Overview

• Interface with various providers (insured and non-insured benefits)
• Experience in billing with health, dental and life insurance carriers/insurers
• Support and follow-up for authorization/approval of surgeries, procedures and hospitalizations
• Support in scheduling appointments and exams
• Billing for insurable benefits (health, life, dental and pension/retirement)
• Processing of files, verification and cost allocation
• Monitoring and control of invoice payments
• Tracking and flagging dependents reaching adulthood (eligibility changes)
• Review of active member database and identification of invalid beneficiaries
• Enrollment changes (additions, modifications, removals)
• Knowledge of health, dental and life insurance carriers/insurers
• Knowledge of benefits (insured and non-insured) and operational/technical processes

Requirements

• High school diploma (complete)
• Intermediate Excel (will be tested)
• Experience in billing with health, dental and life insurance carriers/insurers
