Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned small group employee benefits and individual disability/life clients
Manage renewals for groups, including gathering census data, preparing renewal comparisons, and supporting plan design discussions
Coordinate with carriers on quotes, underwriting, enrollments, eligibility updates, billing issues, and plan changes
Support open enrollment activities including employee materials, carrier coordination, and implementation timelines
Handle ongoing service needs such as eligibility changes, terminations, new hires, and claims or billing inquiries
Quote, submit tickets, take applications, and support underwriting process for individual disability and term life policies
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations including ACA, ERISA, and COBRA
Maintain accurate documentation and client records in agency management systems
Partner with producers and internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience
Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance service delivery, and support client retention
Requirements
2+ years of experience in employee benefits within an insurance brokerage or agency environment
Experience supporting small group (2–99 lives) clients strongly preferred
Familiarity with fully insured benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary coverages, as well as individual disability/term life insurance
Working knowledge of employee benefits compliance and enrollment processes
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
