Keep existing bill count and policy premium on the books by notifying members that their premium is due.
Assist members with making payments, setting up recurring payments, or getting to the sales department if they are interested in a new policy or a new level term product.
Mailing out reminder and lapse letters timely from the system.
Consistently meet expectation of at least 50 outbound calls per day.
Review retention reports daily to see where numbers are and where focus needs to be.
Work through assigned tasks of unpaid accounts.
Assist on payment line to ensure these calls are taken timely for members that are ready to pay.
Work all credit card expiring tasks as well as EFT failed accounts.
Acquire and maintain knowledge of Affinity life and health plans offered.
Self-motivated to meet goals and keep bill count and premium on the books.
Requirements
Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales, preferably in the insurance industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient PC skills and ability to learn new software programs.
Illinois Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license or the ability to become licensed within 90 days of hire.
