Lead, direct, and develop the respective sales organization in terms of its structure, people, and performance to achieve maximum efficiency & effectiveness (including personal feedback & development)
Collaboration with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies
Coach team members on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets
Translate local business plans into sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage the day-to-day activities of a sales team (to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy) for an assigned geography, channel, and/or customers
Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem/opportunities areas and adapt procedures
Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales team to ensure targets are met
Allocate resources according to up-to-date customer categorization to improve the overall performance of the sales team
Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization
Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution plans/strategies for area of responsibility
Generate knowledge on market development/customer needs and competitor activities and distribute to internal stakeholders
Contribute to overall decision making
Develop, implement, and monitor customer specific sales plans and marketing programs to meet/exceed sales targets
Collaborate with internal and external partners successfully
Represent and grow the Essity business
Frequently analyze customer information to discover and manage business risks and opportunities.
Requirements
University Degree or equivalent experience within healthcare
5+ years relevant experience in Healthcare Industry: Long Term Care, Retirement, Memory Care or Assisted Living or Acute
3 + years of management experience
Knowledge of incontinence care is preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong business and financial acumen
The ability to drive a motor vehicle and possession of a valid driver’s license is required
Ability to travel up to 50% domestic travel
Team player and effective collaboration skills
Experience in coaching and leading of a sales team required
