Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for properties
Conduct comprehensive variance analysis and provide clear explanations
Maintain and update general ledger account reconciliation
Responsible for property accounting journal entries
Review and process accounting related accounts payable
Prepare annual financial and operational reporting requirements
Calculate and prepare tenant chargebacks
Setup and maintain straight line rent and analyze variances
Contribute to property budgets and forecasts
Create and maintain tenant CAM & TAX recovery models
Support Property Managers and Administrators with financial accounting inquiries
Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
Assist with auditor requirements and special projects

2+ years of property accounting experience
University Degree or College Diploma in an accounting related field of study
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise level real estate systems
Experience with Yardi is preferred
Working knowledge of month-end and accounting cycle for the preparation of full set of financial statements for properties
Excellent communication skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Effective time management skills
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
