Own the end-to-end money movement platform, including external funding (IAV, ACATS, mobile check, rollovers) and internal transfers
Define and evolve the platform strategy for how money moves into and within Empower
Drive improvements in speed, success rates, cost, and reliability of all transfer methods
Partner with engineering to design scalable, reusable services and APIs for money movement
Work closely with operations and compliance to ensure regulatory alignment and operational excellence
Identify and resolve failure points across the transfer lifecycle (drop-offs, rejects, delays)
Translate complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences
Coordinate with external vendors and partners (aggregation, verification, custodians)
Build a measurement framework across funding funnels, including time-to-fund, completion rates, and error rates
Prioritize platform investments vs. experience improvements with clear tradeoffs
Lead cross-functional execution across product, design, engineering, legal, and operations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience leading major (digital) direct-to-consumer products and working collaboratively with engineering, design, and research teams
Exceptional prioritization and stakeholder management skills, particularly working with compliance/legal partners in a highly regulated industry
Excellent communication skills, storytelling, and organizational skills that instills confidence in senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and peers
