Legal and Compliance Counsel

Role Overview

• Provide legal and compliance support in the areas of client contracting, vendor management, HIPAA privacy and security issues, general operational matters, and other related functions

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing (any US jurisdiction) preferred
• 3+ years of legal experience, with meaningful exposure to healthcare, health IT, or RCM strongly preferred
• Hands-on contract drafting and negotiation experience
• Working knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH, including privacy and security rule requirements
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks and OIG guidance
