Record transactions into the IsraAID bookkeeping file on a regular basis ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and treated consistently in accordance with IsraAID’s accounting policies
Ensure that all expenses are supported by soft copies of receipts
Be familiar with donor agreements and make sure spending is in line with donor restrictions
Review and manage all partner agreements and donor agreements
Review financial reports from partners and make sure they comply with our reporting standards
Assist in preparation of financial reports for partners and for donors
Regular and ad hoc financial reporting and analyses for different stakeholders
Ensure internal and external compliance
Support in budget design and implementation
Ensure payments to suppliers and recurrent expenditures are made in a timely manner
Requirements
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related fields
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated working experience in financial officer and accounting
Confident & proficient in the use of MS Office, and advanced Excel proficiency
Experience working with financial systems
Analytical, organized and process-oriented person
Team player as well as independent thinker
Ability to manage and prioritize a high workload and multiple tasks with tight deadlines
Good interpersonal skills to establish strong working relationships with colleagues
