Deliver training sessions both internally to team members and externally to clients on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and simulation technologies.
Handling customer requests from the support portal.
Assisting client to adapt models and perform HIL test on site (up to 20% of work time).
Support the development and continuous improvement of training materials and programs related to power systems, control systems, and real-time simulation.
Write technical reports, knowledge base and application notes, etc.
Participate in marketing events and technical seminars.
Participate in overseas product roll-outs.
Perform product demonstrations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics or mechanical engineering;
Basic knowledge of these tools (asset): NI Toolchains, Linux operating systems, FPGA and VHDL programming, Industrial and communication protocols (i.e. CAN, Modbus, SPI, Aurora);
Significant assets: Hardware-in-the-loop tools (RT-LAB, NI-Veristand, HYPERSIM, dSPACE, Speedgoat, Typhoon, or RTDS), Industrial HIL testing experience for a full electric vehicle, Simulation of power electronic converters, and Usage of Xilinx System Generator;
Language abilities: Mandarin and English required; Japanese or Korean is an asset;
Soft skills: Customer satisfaction, autonomy and proactivity, planning and organization, good communication skills, teamwork and interpersonal qualities, discipline and determination, flexibility and adaptation, able to deal with ambiguity and pressure.
