About this role
Role Overview
- Provide leadership to the development team and mentor junior staff members
- Collaborate with Scrum Master to plan and deliver sprint artifacts
- Partner with Principal Engineers and Architects to align solutions with enterprise strategy
- Develop, configure, code, and test programs of varying complexity
- Ensure implementations are scalable, performant, and secure
- Escalate delays, issues, and highlights to project managers and project leads
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years experience in software development, focusing on data warehousing, ETL, and data quality
- Proficiency in ETL processes and major RDBMS (e.g. SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Oracle, Exadata, DB2, Teradata)
- Experience with cloud tools (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Data Lake (ADLS), PySpark, Databricks Notebooks)
- Experience with Lambda architectures, real-time and batch processing
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps, Git Repo)
- Agile methodology (Scrum), Jira, Confluence, source code management
- Knowledge of Stonebranch, BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Databricks Genie)
